Hi everyone! I’m Mary and I am happy to have you visit. I have been working in deaf education as a sign language interpreter for a number of years. During a recent summer break I started looking for something else to do in my spare time. I found link post blogging and got started as quickly as I could because it sounded like a lot of fun. I was just about done setting up my blog when school started back up with a crazy busy school year, so my blog was set aside and nearly forgotten. Recently I have started to do more research on blogging and am very interested in making that my full time job.
My husband and I were finally able to buy our first home a few months ago. We had been looking and putting offers in on houses for several years before we got this house. As soon as our offer was accepted, we started packing boxes and putting them in our spare room. The night before the move, we packed our last box, put it in the spare room, and the door wouldn’t close because it was overflowing with boxes. When moving day arrived we were both ready and so was our old house. We are both SO happy that this house is the one we ended up with and we are continually working to make it “ours”. So far, we have our Disney themed office (for my husband’s travel business) mixed up with a craft room that needs organized, a guest bedroom that needs a proper bedding set, and several random shelf areas in the house that seem to work for now. We have removed a few plants and watched to see what color flowers are planted outside around the house. We are always looking for new ideas, feel free to share.
